Residents of the Town of Clay must decided whether to merge Clay Town Police with Onondaga County Sheriff's office in a public referendum by June 23.
If the merger is approved taxpayers would save $ million, according to a Clay Supervisor.
Yesterday, Clay had a public meeting to discuss the merger and over 350 arrived, including police officers.
