By Ryan DelaneySo many garbage collectors in Syracuse called in “sick” Monday that garbage wasn’t collected in parts of the city. According to The Post-Standard, an already high number of workers taking the day off was worsened when 30 to 40 people called in Monday morning. As a result, workers were not able to finish their routes. The trash will be collected today instead.
